Drill Here, Drill Now

I always wanted to smack the tree huggers who protest oil production with the meme that it all goes into a "global collective" and won't affect prices at home. My argument is produce at home and screw the global collective. Look at the gas price comparison between oil producers and non-oil producers and ask yourself why is the US so much higher than other oil countries.

Oh yeah, and Fuck Obama, fuck the tree huggers
and fuck Daryl Hannah.

When I was in Germany 30 years ago gas was so expensive that Americans were issued gas stamps (used at the gas station on post) to get our fuel at an affordable price. Of course, once your gas ration was used up you paid the German prices.
By the way, we're paying about $4.25 a gallon here in Kalifornia - don't know for sure how much because I haven't bought gas in the past couple days.

Norway is an oil producer. They have claim on some of the North Sea fields. England is also an oil producing state. Both produce more oil a year than Egypt.
The only two nations that produce more oil than the United States are Russia and Saudi.

If Texas was an independent nation, it would be ranked 14th or so for world oil production.

Aw, that's so cute. You said "if". ;-)

You are still paying the Yankees taxes, so "if" is applicable.

Actually Norway is a producer, they just have socialist taxes on gas.
